Warehouse and Logistics Manager

The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the storage, movement, and distribution of goods efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You have to ensure the smooth supply chain operations from receiving inventory to final delivery.

1️ Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Ensure optimal warehouse layout and space utilization
• Maintain accurate inventory records
• Implement FIFO/LIFO where applicable
• Manage warehouse safety standard

2️ Inventory Control

• Monitor stock levels and prevent stockouts/overstock
• Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts
• Reduce shrinkage and inventory losses
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams

3️ Logistics & Distribution

• Plan transportation routes and delivery schedules
• Negotiate with transport providers
• Optimize freight costs
• Monitor on-time delivery performance
• Handle import/export documentation (if applicable)

4️ Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff
• Assign tasks and monitor productivity
• Train employees on SOPs and safety
• Evaluate performance and improve efficiency

5️ Cost & Performance Management

• Control warehousing and transportation costs
• Track KPIs such as:
• Order accuracy rate
• Inventory turnover
• Order fulfillment time
• Transportation cost per unit
• Prepare operational reports for management

Requirements

• Candidates with minimum 4 to 7 years of experience can apply.
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Inventory management expertise
• Knowledge of supply chain operations
• Leadership and team management
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Understanding of safety regulations
• Negotiation skills (freight/contracts)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
