The Logistics and Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the storage, movement, and distribution of goods efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. You have to ensure the smooth supply chain operations from receiving inventory to final delivery.
1️ Warehouse Operations Management
- Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
- Ensure optimal warehouse layout and space utilization
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Implement FIFO/LIFO where applicable
- Manage warehouse safety standard
2️ Inventory Control
- Monitor stock levels and prevent stockouts/overstock
- Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts
- Reduce shrinkage and inventory losses
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams
3️ Logistics & Distribution
- Plan transportation routes and delivery schedules
- Negotiate with transport providers
- Optimize freight costs
- Monitor on-time delivery performance
- Handle import/export documentation (if applicable)
4️ Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse staff
- Assign tasks and monitor productivity
- Train employees on SOPs and safety
- Evaluate performance and improve efficiency
5️ Cost & Performance Management
- Control warehousing and transportation costs
- Track KPIs such as:
- Order accuracy rate
- Inventory turnover
- Order fulfillment time
- Transportation cost per unit
- Prepare operational reports for management
Requirements
- Candidates with minimum 4 to 7 years of experience can apply.
