Warehouse Assistant

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Assistant and Delivery Support role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, assisting with outbound deliveries, collecting goods from third-party logistics providers, and ensuring proper packing and sealing of ice cream products in accordance with quality and food safety standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations

• Pack ice cream products using heat-sealing machines and carton packaging as per company standards.
• Label, count, and organize finished goods accurately before dispatch.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the packing and storage areas at all times.
• Follow FIFO and basic stock-handling procedures.

Delivery Support

• Accompany the company driver on daily deliveries to customers and retail partners.
• Load and unload ice cream products safely while maintaining the cold chain.
• Assist in verifying delivery quantities and supporting delivery documentation where required.

3PL Coordination

• Collect finished goods, raw materials, or packaging items from third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses as instructed.
• Verify items collected against delivery notes or pick lists.
• Support internal transfers between warehouse, production, and storage locations when needed.

Compliance and Safety

• Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures.
• Report damaged goods, temperature issues, or equipment problems immediately.
• Use packing and handling equipment safely and responsibly.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a warehouse, packing, or delivery support role preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and unloading cartons.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and food-handling practices.
• Willingness to travel locally for deliveries and pickups.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions accurately.

Working Conditions

• Cold-storage and freezer environments as required.
• Flexible working hours depending on delivery schedules and operational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED2,300.00 per month
