Job Roles, Duties and Responsibilities

Technical Role

  • Manage inward, storage, and outward movement of materials as per company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
  • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and preservation of materials to avoid damage.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO inventory practices and stock control methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, storage guidelines, and quality requirements.

Team Role

  • Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Projects, and Dispatch teams for material requirements.
  • Supervise warehouse assistants, loaders, and support staff.
  • Maintain effective communication for smooth warehouse operations.
  • Support cross-functional teams during urgent dispatches or material shortages.

Primary Duties

  • Receive materials and verify against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Manage stock organization, bin allocation, and material tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain inward, outward, and stock reports.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of materials and finished goods.

Other Job Duties

  • Support packing, labeling, and shipment preparation activities.
  • Participate in periodic stock audits and physical verification.
  • Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners for dispatch schedules.
  • Maintain warehouse housekeeping and safety compliance.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate inventory control and minimize material loss or damage.
  • Follow company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and traceability of materials.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Support smooth material flow for production and project requirements.

  • Maintain confidentiality of inventory and operational data.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Support organisational goals related to cost control and operational efficiency.
