Warehouse Associate

Description:

Midwest Valve Services, a Novaspect Company, is currently offering an opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join our fast paced, customer-oriented team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate and efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory duties within our warehouse.

Warehouse Associate Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Performs the physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distribution of products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
• Records receipt and shipment of products within the Novaspect business systems
• Works with the warehouse team to complete daily shipping requirements
• Works with internal stakeholders to resolve customer issues
• Drives company vehicles to pick-up and deliver product, parts, and equipment as needed
• Exhibits professionalism when interacting with internal and external stakeholders
• Works with the warehouse team on other assignments as needed
• Capable of learning time management to accomplish all assigned duties within allotted time

Requirements:

Warehouse Associate Education and/or Experience:

• Minimum two years warehouse shipping and receiving experience
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• General computer knowledge required
• Use of a forklift required
• Experience with UPS and/or FedEx shipping software helpful

Warehouse Associate Additional Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to be insured by the company’s insurance
• Ability to maintain positive work relationships with co-workers
• Ability to maintain good customer relations
• Ability to follow safety guidelines

Warehouse Associate Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, lower, slide weight up to 60 pounds
• Must be able to efficiently use a dolly and/or pallet jack
• Must be able to stand for long periods, up to 3 hours at a time

Warehouse Associate Pay:

• Hourly Rate Range: $20-$23/hr
• OT eligible

The final offer will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to the candidates depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in the position.

• Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
