Warehouse Associate

Job purpose: The Warehouse Associate will assist in our shipping and receiving department. This individual must exercise great attention to detail in the processing of incoming and outgoing orders to over 60 countries. This individual must be dedicated, reliable and highly organized. The primary goal of the Warehouse Associate will be to ensure proper restocking of inventory and picking of orders with efficiency. Must have a team-player mentality and the willingness to maintain a safe, can-do work environment.

Duties and responsibilities: The primary duties of the Warehouse Associate are, but not limited to;

  • Accurately pull and process outgoing orders for shipment
  • Accurately count and restock inbound inventory
  • Perform inventory counts on existing stock
  • Operate a forklift, as needed
  • Work cooperatively with team members
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse
  • Report any order discrepancies or issues to management

Qualifications: The Warehouse Associate must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and other shipping methods is a plus
  • Forklift certification and experience is a plus
  • Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for interfacing with sales and inventory program
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be able to manage time and resources to achieve goals

Working conditions: The Warehouse Associate will work an 8-hour shift, 40 hours per week at our New Castle, DE facility. The position will be expected to manage their daily workload to support the demands of external and internal customers. There will be a need to frequently go out in the warehouse to verify equipment location and condition.

Physical requirements

  • Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion
  • Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
  • Must possess the visual acuity to prepare and use figures, operate a computer terminal, operate equipment, use measurement devices, do visual inspections, and operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
