Warehouse Associate

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Associate works as part of a collaborative team following procedures already in place to receive all materials that are used in production and handling finished goods at the facility.

The Warehouse Associate will demonstrate attention to detail, following proper procedures while assisting and supporting the inventory and production needs.

The Warehouse Associate will be required to record data in/on documentation with accurate and legible entries following GMP.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Meets safety requirements in accomplishing responsibilities of this position in compliance with all policies and regulations.

· Collaborates with co-workers, supervisors, and managers to ensure results of their activities meet the corporate and regulatory standards and expectations.

· Materials (Raw, Packaging, Finished Goods) – Shipping, Receiving, Inventory

o Read work orders or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.

o Weigh materials/products and record weight on tags, labels, production, shipping or receiving documents.

o Load/Unload materials onto/off freight truck trailer, pallets/skids. Install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.

o Inventory (count and document) materials on work floor for general inventory counts, production needs, other

o Supply production lines/QC Department with materials as needed.

o Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials and move to designated quarantine area/s.

· Equipment – Forklift, Pallet Jack/s, Dolly, Pallet Wrapper, etc

o Convey materials to/ from receiving, storage and other warehouse work sites to designated area/a, using forklift, hand truck, electric dolly/pallet-jack, or another device.

o Inspect forklift/s and complete daily pre/post shift inspection log.

o Drive/operate gasoline-liquefied gas and/or electric-powered industrial vehicle (up to 8 hours per day) equipped with lifting devices, such as forklift and pallet jacks to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in warehouse.

o Move levers and press pedal/s to drive industrial vehicle and control movement of lifting apparatus, position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, materials, warehouse staff.

o Operate/program pallet wrapper.

o Places pallets on pallet wrapping machine using forklift.

· Other

o Complete daily log sheets – opening, closing, thru-out shift.

o Clean and maintain freezer, cooler and loading docks.

o Performs basic mathematical calculations (using calculator if needed)

o Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.

Lifts objects by hand and cleans work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with inventory management practices and systems is advantageous.
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge for basic troubleshooting.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately in a busy environment.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish a big plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
