Job Overview

Ready-Contractors, a respected leader in the construction industry since 1969, is seeking a diligent and organised Warehouse Associate to join our team. With a long-standing reputation for quality workmanship and reliable service in eastern North Carolina, we are excited to expand our operations. This is a full-time position based at our facility in Los Angeles, California, United States. The successful candidate will be a vital part of our supply chain, ensuring that materials and equipment are managed efficiently to support our construction projects. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining a safe and orderly warehouse.

The salary for this position is $75,000 - $125,450 USD per annum, dependent on experience.


Responsibilities

* Receive, unload, and process incoming deliveries of materials and equipment, verifying contents against purchase orders.
* Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for dispatch to various construction sites, ensuring all orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
* Maintain precise and up-to-date inventory records using our warehouse management system.
* Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and pallet jacks, adhering to all company and health and safety guidelines.
* Conduct regular stock-takes and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
* Collaborate effectively with project managers and other team members to coordinate the flow of supplies.


Qualifications

* Proven experience working as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar logistics role.
* Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* The physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
* A strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Familiarity with inventory management software is highly desirable.
* Experience within the construction industry would be a significant advantage.
* A valid forklift operator's licence is preferred but not essential.
