Warehouse Associate at MORRIS COMPANY

Morris Company in San Antonio, TX is looking for one warehouse associate to join our 10-person strong team. We are located on 2420 South Flores Street. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and reliable. We require a minimum 1-year employment commitment upon hire.

Full-Time Employee Salary:

  • Weekly Payroll Check Direct Deposit
  • Overtime hours will fluctuate and are paid at time and a half.
  • Warehouse Hourly $14.50 -Overtime @ $21.75 an hour
  • Forklift Hourly $15.50-Overtime @ $23.25 an hour
  • Skid Steer Loader/Bobcat Hourly $16.50-Overtime @ $24.75 an hour

FULL-TIME EMPLOYEE WORK HOURS

M-F: 7:45AM-4:00PM

SAT: 7:45AM-1:00PM

M-F: 1-Hour Lunch or less if short-handed

  • Responsibilities

Receiving and Processing: Unload, inspect, and process incoming stock and materials.

Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.

Inventory Management: Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.

Safety and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.

Quality Control: Report any discrepancies and ensure products are handled safely and efficiently.

Work with customers in a retail environment, load materials onto customer vehicles, unload and stock inventory using forklift and Bobcat.

Requirements:

We require a minimum 1-year employment commitment upon hire.

  • No attendance issues
  • Experience:
  • Physical Condition: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Work in the elements outside
  • Learn to operate a forklift (on the job training)
  • Learn to operate a skid steer loader to load materials onto customer vehicles (on the job training).
  • Count to 100
  • Read and write in English Language
  • Spanish Language speaking is a plus but not required
  • Work in a team environment

Qualifications:


Coordination:
Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and solve issues related to equipment and inventory.
