Warehouse Associate (Dry Dock) - Day Shift | Forklift Operator - DC2

Position Information: Performs various duties in a warehouse environment including, but not limited to, order selecting, receiving, shipping, operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF guns, etc. Palletizes product for transit. Reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor and assists the Warehouse as needed and assigned.

  • Good production rate.
  • Good attention to detail with high level of accuracy in all areas of work.
  • Good attendance record, dependable worker
  • Perform repetitious work accurately and with mental alertness

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Good attendance record, dependable worker
  • Knowledge of food distribution
  • Basic math skills test
  • Basic English skills reading/writing/speaking

Education & Experience:

  • 6 months to 1-year experience in warehouse work, production, order selection, receiving, shipping, building pallet of products, shrink wrap pallets.
  • Experience with safety procedures in a warehouse environment
  • Forklift, pallet jack experience
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to reach, lift, stack, and maneuver objects of varying dimensions and weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and reach with hands and arms.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, and turn in a safe manner.
  • Exhibit manual dexterity and good hand/eye coordination to move freight.
  • Complete a physical agility test
  • Complete a drug screen

Work Environment:

  • Warehouse environment, walking and riding on equipment.

Supervision:

  • This position has no direct Supervisory responsibility.
  • This position receives Supervision and direction for all assignments. In some cases, Supervisor outlines steps involved in completing assignments or standard procedures are available to enable the employee to work in a routine fashion. The end results of this work are frequently checked.
**Must complete a post-offer, pre-employment drug screen, physical agility test and background check.
**Must be able to successfully complete a basic prescreening Math-Logical Reasoning test, which is conducted at the start of your interview.
