Overview

Flexpak is seeking an experienced and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate has at least one year of forklift experience and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is responsible for operating forklifts to move, load, and unload packaging materials, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport products and materials throughout the warehouse.
• Receive and verify incoming shipments for accuracy.
• Organize inventory in designated storage areas according to system guidelines.
• Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy.
• Conduct routine forklift inspections and report any mechanical or safety issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve productivity goals and meet deadlines.
• Follow all Flexpak safety policies, procedures, and operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience in a warehouse or similar setting.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Capable of standing, bending, and twisting for extended periods.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness for safe operation.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proven understanding of safety practices and protocols in warehouse environments.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to perform efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
