Warehouse Associate - Steel Distribution Center

STEEL AND PIPES OF FLORIDA (Leader in steel, aluminum and industrial products with over 45 years' experience) is hiring for the following position:

Location: Orlando, Florida

Warehouse Associate (Steel Distribution Center)

Location: Orlando Branch (Near Orlando International Airport)

Job Description:

Responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of products within the distribution center. This includes receiving, storing, preparing, and shipping of materials amongst other duties.

Responsibilities:

 Load and unload materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or manually when required.

 Verify product type, size, and quantity against shipping or receiving documents.

 Pick and prepare customer orders according to specifications.

 Operate material handling equipment (MHE), including forklifts, side loaders, and overhead cranes.

 Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Package materials for shipping using banding, strapping, and wrapping equipment.

 Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily workload targets.

 Follow all safety policies, procedures, and proper lifting techniques.
· Previous experience is a MUST!!!
