Warehouse Bobtail Driver

Position Summary

Certified Waste Solutions provides waste solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family clients, enhancing operational efficiency and sustainability. Our American Canyon office is seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Bobtail Driver to safely transport electronic waste materials from customer sites to our disposal and recycling facilities. This role combines driving, customer service, and hands-on materials handling in the warehouse.

Work Hours and Schedule: Monday-Friday; 5:00am-1:30pm, no weekends.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate bobtail trucks and follow all DOT regulations
• Responsible for loading and unloading trucks and ensuring all materials are loaded and unloaded in warehouse
• Perform pickups and deliveries across the Bay Area (South Bay preferred)
• Keeping track of packages and materials to ensure accuracy and accuracy of inventory counts.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors, sales staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Documenting delivery, accuracy, and receipt of orders according to company directives.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and complete daily DVIRs
• Handle paperwork (BOLs, packing lists, labels) accurately and timely
• Ensure secure loading/unloading and use of safety equipment
• Safely operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required.
• Represent the company professionally to customers
• Communicate with dispatch and operations teams effectively
• Assist and guide riders when applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of Class C bobtail driving experience (Bay Area)
• Clean DMV record
• Able to pass background/security clearance
• Familiar with smartphone/GPS use
• Physically capable of lifting 30+ lbs. and using pallet jacks
• Attention to detail and adaptability to new procedures
• No smoking in company vehicles or customer sites

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Work is performed in an outdoor work setting
• Warehouse Bobtail Driver reports to the Transportation Manager

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
