Job Description

Scorpios is looking for a warehouse clerk who will maintain an organized and clean warehouse. You will manage and organize inventory and perform various assigned tasks, such as labelling etc. You will also track inventory levels, maintain accurate records, receive shipments, report discrepancies and return damaged products. You will be required to handle tools and equipment while ensuring that inventory levels are monitored and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading shipments and verify that the quantity and quality of items received match the accompanying paperwork.
• Managing inventory levels by tracking product quantities, checking for damages, organizing stock, and updating inventory records.
• Ensure that the warehouse is clean, organized, and free of any hazards or obstructions that may cause injury to you or others.
• Maintaining shelves, bins, and other storage areas.
• Make sure that all equipment and tools are well-maintained, stored properly, and used correctly.
• You must also ensure that required PPE is worn at all times.
• Following proper health and safety protocols at all times, such as lifting with proper techniques, avoiding any potential safety hazards and reporting any accidents or near misses.
