The Shamrock Group is a local and growing company in South Minneapolis. Our company has been in business since 1945, we offer a multitude of services and products to a wide range of customers throughout the Twin Cities. We are looking to hire a Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative who is a hard worker, has a positive attitude, and is a team player. This position will support our fleet and warehouse departments in providing amazing customer service and optimize efficient deliveries. There are multiple opportunities for advancement within the company, depending on skill and competency level of the candidate.
The position will be in office located at our 2900 5th Ave, South. Minneapolis MN 55408 building.
Schedule:
This position works 1st shift, 7:00am - 3:30pm CST, Monday-Friday.
This position is primarily inbound calls and has an emphasis on talking on the phone with our customers with a courteous manner. Candidates with current business phone support experience are desired; but training is offered. The Job duties are as follows:
· Be able to manage and accept 20 to 75 calls per day.
· Clarify customer needs and properly enter orders.
· Clarify customer delivery days and route schedules.
· Analyze situations and acquire information for service calls.
· Recognize and collect information for sales leads.
· Identify and transfer calls to proper departments/individuals.
· Be able to dispatch orders to drivers in an efficient way.
· Interact with all customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
· Assist walk-in customers.
· Complete cash and credit card transactions
· Inventory using data entry.
· Inventory and accounting administration
· Close out orders and prepare routes.
· Dispatch drivers to customer locations
· Assist warehouse crew.
· Check in delivery drivers after their route.
The following are additional qualifications we are searching for in a candidate:
On Time to Work EVERY DAY (Required)
Prior experience in a warehouse office environment preferred
Knowledge of office equipment
Knowledge in computer programs/software
Must be Organized
Must be able to multi-task
Able to work well with a team
Be proactive and serve customers
Have strong phone etiquette
Have a positive attitude and highly motivated
