Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials for Pravin Electricals. This role ensures that inventory is managed accurately, materials are available for project requirements, and all warehouse operations follow safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations Management

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of electrical materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse environment.
• Coordinate with procurement, project, and accounts teams for timely material movement.

2. Inventory Control & Documentation

• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock audits (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Ensure accurate documentation of GRN, issue slips, stock registers, and material return notes.
• Implement and monitor FIFO, batch tracking, and proper labeling systems.
• Identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete stock and report to management.

3. Material Planning & Coordination

• Plan material availability based on project schedules and site requirements.
• Coordinate with transporters and internal teams for timely dispatches.
• Track inbound and outbound material and ensure minimal delays.

4. Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff including storekeepers, helpers, and loaders.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity.
• Train the team in safety, documentation, and handling of electrical materials.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety guidelines, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain proper records for audits and inspections.
• Implement safety practices for material handling, lifting operations, and storage.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate preferred (Supply Chain/Logistics background is an advantage).
• 5+ years of experience in warehouse/store management; experience in electrical contracting or construction industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, documentation, and ERP systems.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict timelines.
• Knowledge of electrical materials is a strong plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
