Warehouse Janitor

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Janitor to maintain cleanliness, safety, and landscaped grounds around our warehouse facility. This position will help with indoor janitorial tasks, machine cleaning and washing, and assisting with outdoor landscaping.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform janitorial duties: sweep, mop, dust, clean floors, restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, dispose of waste, maintain waste/recycling areas.
• Clean warehouse equipment and fixtures as needed (e.g. tote bins, pallets, racking areas) to maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Perform basic outdoor grounds and landscaping upkeep: weed wack or trim lawns/grounds, pull weeds, maintain exterior grounds (walkways, parking lot, exterior common areas), trash pickup outdoors.
• Assist with facility grounds maintenance tasks (e.g. clearing debris, cleaning outdoor common areas).
• Report maintenance or safety issues, and follow safety and facility policies.
• When needed, assist with general warehouse support or manual‑labor tasks (i.e., packing noodles)

Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks: lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic familiarity with janitorial equipment (brooms, mops, floor scrubbers) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Basic grounds‑keeping / outdoor maintenance skills: ability to perform lawn/garden maintenance tasks.
• Flexibility and willingness to perform a mix of indoor + outdoor duties, sometimes including shifts, variable tasks, and multi‑tasking.

Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic familiarity of janitorial equipment (brooms, mops, floor scrubbers) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to perform lawn/garden maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to work in cold and warm environments
• Ability to Lift at least 50 pounds on a continuous basis

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour
