Warehouse Keeper

Objectives of the Job

To efficiently manage and run the main warehouse for wholesale home goods, primarily glass products; to ensure safe receiving, handling, and storage; to enforce operational discipline; to minimize breakage and shrinkage; to fulfill online and wholesale orders on time; and to supply branches without any delays.

Key Duties

• Accept shipments of containers and oversee their unloading in compliance with delicate products safe handling protocols

• Check quantities and specifications against packing lists, purchase orders, and invoices

• Examine pallets and cartons, note any damage, separate impacted items, and file incident reports

• Assign storage spaces, label objects, and enter them into the system

• Put the Location System into place and do away with haphazard storing methods

• Arrange glass inventory in accordance with load constraints, height restrictions, and safe stacking guidelines

• Use the ABC Classification to group inventory according to category, velocity, and size

• Reconcile system and physical stock and perform routine and unexpected cycle counts

• Receive and accurately prepare sales orders wholesale and internet

• Before shipping, use expert protective packing guidelines for delicate items

• Pre-dispatch verification and adherence to specified order fulfillment SLAs

• Arrange shipments and order dispatch with logistics in accordance with safe-transport regulations

• Based on authorized supply plans, prepare and send out branch replenishment

• Plan deliveries and loading, and record transfers between warehouses

• Real-time update all inventory transactions on ERP, WMS, Excel, and Odoo

• Provide daily operating reports on order receipt, fulfillment, delays, deviations, and damages

• Keep an eye on popular SKUs to avoid stockouts

Qualifications & Competencies

• Demonstrated expertise in distribution and wholesale warehousing operations

• Knowledge of working with delicate items, such as glass and ceramics

• Practical knowledge of Odoo inventory and warehouse modules

• Proficiency with inventory management systems ERP and WMS

• Excellent organizational and process control skills

• Excellent stock counting and reconciliation accuracy

• The capacity to effectively complete orders under time constraints

• The ability to lead a team and assign tasks

• Expertise in operational reporting and Excel

• A strong grasp of standard storage procedures and safety
