Warehouse Lead

Premier Food Service is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead. The schedule for this position is Sunday - Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with occasional overtime.

Overall Responsibility

The Warehouse Lead directs a small team of associates and works with the Warehouse Manager to accurately and efficiently fulfill route vending and delivery orders. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills.

Starting rate: $17.00/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate workflow to meet daily targets and ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safety and organized workplace.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Prepare inventory for the pick line
• Pick snack, cold food and pop for vending routes
• Work in refrigerated area to pull cold food items
• Ensure accuracy and pace for pick line is kept up to standard
• Keep product from the pick line stocked
• Break down and compact boxes using tools & machinery
• Ensure totes & products for each route are organized and loaded properly
• Put return products back into inventory
• Other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse experience
• Proven attendance record
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong leadership, organization and time management skills.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check as it pertains to the job.
• Ability to problem solve and work as a team
• Strong communication and reasoning skills
• Ability to lift 54lbs and push/pull 95lbs
• Bilingual is a plus
