Warehouse Lead

Job Summary

The Warehouse Lead supports daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, handling materials efficiently, and managing shipping and receiving tasks while maintaining a strong work ethic and excellent attendance.
Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform material handling tasks, including loading, unloading, moving, and staging products
• Breaking down crates
• Handle shipping and receiving duties, including verifying quantities and inspecting shipments for accuracy and damage
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation and transferring inventory in the ERP system (APTEAN)
• Receiving daily PO's from various vendors
• Inspecting incoming inventory
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production and shipping goals
• Communicating with Management and Purchasing through email and telephone, regarding inventory, PO's, Shipments, and other required activities

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift operation experience (certification a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Dependable with a proven record of good attendance
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
• Basic math and record-keeping skills
• Good Communication skills

• Fast-paced warehouse setting
• Standing, walking, lifting, and operating equipment throughout the shift
