Warehouse Lead

I’m partnering with a client on a Local Warehouse Lead opportunity within their Operations team, reporting directly to the Operations Manager/Owner.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping for both direct-to-consumer and installer/dealer orders. It’s ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment and takes pride in organization, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

• Lead receiving, picking, packing, and shipping

• Verify incoming inventory against purchase orders

• Ensure same-day or next-day order fulfillment

• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

Inventory Control

• Perform weekly cycle counts

• Maintain accurate inventory in ERP (Fulfil / Shopify)

• Identify discrepancies and resolve root causes

• Monitor low stock levels and coordinate with purchasing

Shipping & Logistics

• Prepare shipments via FedEx, UPS, and LTL freight

• Select cost-effective shipping methods

• Ensure proper packaging to reduce damage

• Manage returns and RMA processing

Team Leadership

• Supervise and train warehouse associates

• Maintain productivity standards

• Enforce safety procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience

• Inventory management experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

• Basic computer skills (ERP, Excel)

• Forklift and shipping software experience are a plu
