About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive who will manage end-to-end logistics operations and coordination between the warehouse team, internal departments, vendors, and customers. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, excellent follow-up ability, and a solid understanding of dispatch and order management.
Key Responsibilities1. Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate daily with the warehouse team regarding stock availability, picking, packing, and dispatch status.
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Finance, Customer Support) for smooth order processing.
- Coordinate with courier partners and transporters for vehicle arrangement and shipment scheduling.
2. Order Management & Follow-Up
- Take complete responsibility for order follow-up, ensuring timely processing from receiving the order to dispatch.
- Maintain continuous follow-up with the warehouse team on pending orders, urgent orders, and order delays.
- Share order status updates with sales teams and customers as required.
- Track orders until delivery and ensure proper closure with delivery proofs.
3. Dispatch & Delivery Management
- Ensure timely dispatch of all customer orders.
- Track shipment movements and handle delivery-related issues such as delays, missing shipments, or wrong deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of AWB numbers, LR copies, challans, and other dispatch documents.
4. Inventory & Documentation
- Coordinate stock movements, inter-warehouse transfers, and verify inventory records.
- Prepare daily and weekly logistics MIS reports.
- Prepare documents such as e-way bills, invoices, delivery challans, etc.
5. Vendor & Transport Management
- Liaise with transporters for rates, delivery schedules, and special shipment requirements.
- Handle escalations with courier partners if any shipment issues arise.
6. Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in dispatch, order flow, and logistics processes and suggest solutions.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs for dispatch and stock handling.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Strong follow-up ability—especially for order tracking.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations, courier processes, and logistics documentation.
- Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure.
