Warehouse Manager

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including inventory management, storage, distribution, staff supervision, and ensuring smooth and safe functioning of the warehouse. This role ensures that goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock accuracy through regular audits.
• Monitor space utilization and ensure effective layout planning.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams for smooth operations.
• Manage warehouse staff—recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, dispatch timelines, and stock levels.
• Implement cost-control measures and improve operational efficiency.
• Handle documentation, reporting, and ERP/WMS system updates.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and ERP/WMS software.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data and create reports.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations.
