Warehouse Manager Job Details:

• Manages approximately 2 to 4 direct reports supervisors, dependent on seasonal fluctuations.
• Manages the recruitment and selection of production warehouse positions by working with the HR department and recruiter.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, and material handling requirements enforces adherence to requirements, advising management on needed actions.
• Oversees the warehouse supervisory personnel regarding performance reviews, employee disciplinary coaching actions, and compliance with company policies and written procedures.
• Performs regular 1:1s with direct reports, sets goals and KPIs, holding team accountable for results and efficiencies.
• Oversees the warehouse personnel in the performance and training of safe workplace practices in compliance with department worksite safety programs.
• Helps ensures the accuracy of all inventories by reviewing that inventory management procedures are being met and followed correctly.
• Oversees the Department’s time and attendance compliance including working with supervisory personnel in the identification of non-compliant patterns and behavior and using established corrective action processes.
• Oversee and monitor performance improvements for warehouse associates while under disciplinary action.
• Conducts periodic training for department employees on topics such as new policies, changes in safety rules or operational processes, and others.
• Oversight of completion and accuracy of appropriate paperwork, invoices, and reports.

The Qualified Candidate:

• Demonstrates ability to follow directions and with necessary attention to detail
• Able to follow directions and take initiative
• Physically able to move product by hand or by operating different kind of lift trucks/forklifts
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle record and valid driver's license
• Pre-employment background check
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 60 pounds
