Warehouse Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly efficient Warehouse Manager to oversee all warehouse operations. This role is crucial for ensuring optimal productivity, accurate inventory levels across our network, and leading our team to achieve faster delivery times through strategic inventory planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations & Efficiency: Direct and manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping. Implement and monitor procedures to maximize operational efficiency and space utilization.
• Strategic Inventory Planning: Crucially, lead the planning and forecasting of inventory needs for all branches based on sales data and trends to ensure stock availability and significantly improve final delivery time.
• Inventory Control: Ensure high levels of physical inventory accuracy through effective process management and regular cycle counts. Minimize losses and control stock levels.
• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage warehouse staff, fostering a safety-first, high-performance team culture. Manage scheduling and resource allocation.
• Performance Reporting: Track key operational metrics (KPIs) and report on warehouse performance to senior management, identifying areas for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years in a supervisory or management role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Education: Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent practical experience.
• Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel, with proven analytical abilities to handle sales data and planning models.
• Competencies: Proven track record in process optimization, strategic planning, strong organizational skills, and effective team leadership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
