Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution operations with energy and precision. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse activities, from receiving, quarantine, storage management in different categories of products, to order fulfillment. We are a small business of 10-20 people, therefore, you also personally handle the reorganization of our product, the inventory management by learning and utilizing our simply but intuitive inventory management system, to efficient shipping and receiving.

You will also management 1 to 2 individuals with ensuring productivity, accurcary, and punctionality of shipments and organization of materials.

Duties

• Manage daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and warehouse distribution activities (this is not delegated but personally carried out by you).
• Lead and supervise very small warehouse staff, fostering a motivated team focused on safety, accuracy, and productivity.
• Oversee transportation to coordinate freight movement, indvidiaul packages through UPS/FedEx, DHL and International and optimizing transportation planning, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Implement process improvements utilizing Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate procurement of warehouse materials like boxes, shipping supplies, extra pallets, etc. to maintain optimal stock levels and reduce waste.
• Utilize Google Workspace systems with the Google Suite and Microsoft Suite (Office, Excel, Google Sheets, Forms, etc)
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers, customs broker, and freight carriers to streamline logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, food (dietary supplement) and warehouse management system protocols, and transportation regulations.

Skills

• Proven experience supervising or being chief warehouse lead in operations with a strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Expertise in supply chain management principles including procurement, logistics, freight forwarding, and shipping & receiving procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, process improvement strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Familiarity with transportation planning systems or equivalent supply chain analytics tools.
• Demonstrated ability in managing budgets and operational cost control.
• Hands-on experience with forklift operation certification; familiarity with warehouse equipment handling is essential, as you will be using this on a daily basis.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
