Job Summary
Summit Restoration & Construction is seeking a proactive and organized
Warehouse Manager
to oversee all warehouse, facility, equipment, and fleet operations that support our restoration teams. The ideal candidate has experience in construction, building maintenance, or restoration, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys taking ownership of systems that keep projects moving efficiently. This role is critical to the success of our production department and overall building operations.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and stock rotation.

Source and procure construction materials, tools, equipment, and specialty items.

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Build and manage strong supplier and subcontractor relationships.

Serve as the Emergency Services liaison; ensure ES trailers are fully stocked and deployment-ready.

Manage the tool tracking and accountability program to reduce loss and extend equipment lifespan.

Oversee fleet management, including vehicle inspections, maintenance scheduling, and documentation.

Conduct regular facility inspections and coordinate necessary repairs or preventative maintenance.

Maintain accurate records of inventory, facility maintenance, and supply usage.

Support production staff with materials, logistics, and resource coordination to keep projects on schedule.
Required Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of construction, restoration, or building maintenance workflows and materials.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Comfortable communicating with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and field teams.

Ability to think critically, solve problems quickly, and “see the big picture.”

Strong leadership abilities and a proactive, team-focused mindset.

Understanding of supply chain processes, inventory systems, and warehouse best practices.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking, documentation, and communication.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to pass a background check.
Education & Experience
-
Experience in construction, restoration, warehouse management, or facility operations required.

Previous experience in inventory control, logistics support, or purchasing preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or industry training is a plus.
Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.

Ability to walk the warehouse, climb ladders, and perform routine facility inspections.

Comfortable working in an active warehouse environment where bending, lifting, and standing are common.

Ability to operate or learn to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, lifts, etc.).
