Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager – Tile Industry is responsible for managing warehouse operations involving ceramic, vitrified, and porcelain tiles at the Ghevra facility. The role focuses on safe handling of heavy and fragile materials, inventory accuracy, damage control, and timely dispatch to dealers, projects, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound, storage, stacking, and dispatch of tiles, slabs, and related materials
• Ensure proper stacking, palletization, and racking to prevent breakage and damage
• Maintain batch-wise, shade-wise, size-wise, and design-wise inventory accuracy
• Monitor loading/unloading using forklifts, cranes, and manual labor
• Control breakage, wastage, and shortages; investigate and report damages
• Supervise warehouse supervisors, forklift operators, loaders, and contract labor
• Plan manpower and vehicle loading schedules to meet dispatch timelines
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and transporters for dealer and project deliveries
• Ensure compliance with safety norms, PPE usage, and warehouse housekeeping
• Maintain GRN, stock registers, inward/outward records, and MIS reports
• Manage returns, rejections, and damaged material segregation

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of tile warehouse operations and material handling
• Experience handling heavy and fragile products
• Knowledge of forklifts, pallet trucks, and stacking methods
• Basic proficiency in WMS/ERP systems and MS Excel
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills
• Communication skills in Hindi (English preferred)

Education & Experience

• Graduate / Diploma (Logistics, Supply Chain, or Operations preferred)
• 4–7 years of warehouse experience, preferably in tile, ceramic, marble, or building materials industry
• Experience managing high-volume dispatch and dealer network operations

Working Conditions

• Full-time role based at Ghevra warehouse
• Physically demanding warehouse environment
• Extended working hours during peak dispatch periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
