Warehouse Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations with energy and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire supply chain process within the warehouse, ensuring seamless coordination of inventory management, shipping and receiving, and distribution activities. Your leadership will drive process improvements, optimize warehouse efficiency, and uphold safety standards while fostering a proactive team environment. Duties

• Lead and supervise daily warehouse activities, including inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping & receiving, and dispatching operations.
• Develop and implement process improvement initiatives utilizing Lean principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Manage transportation planning and logistics coordination, including freight management, fleet oversight, and third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
• Oversee procurement, purchasing, and materials management to ensure optimal stock levels and supply chain continuity.
• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems such as AS400, and supply chain analytics tools to monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with production planning teams to align inventory levels with demand forecasts and demand planning strategies.
• Supervise warehouse staff, including , safety protocols, and operational procedures to maintain a high-performance team environment.
• Oversee budgeting activities related to warehouse operations, ensuring cost-effective practices while maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or operations management within a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles including inventory management, transportation management systems (TMS), freight logistics, and warehouse distribution.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency with ERP systems with warehouse management system (WMS) software is essential.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, demand planning, production planning, and budgeting practices.
• familiarity with dispatching, order fulfillment, fleet management, and materials handling is preferred.
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of supervising teams effectively while fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to utilize supply chain analytics for decision-making insights.
• Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control, shipping & receiving procedures, and logistics coordination.
