Extreme Crane & Rigging is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee warehouse operations, equipment inventory, and material logistics supporting our crane and rigging operations. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized, efficient warehouse that supports field crews, trucking operations, and shop work.

Extreme Crane is a heavy lift and rigging company supporting construction, infrastructure, and industrial projects throughout the region. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in ensuring that customer equipment, rigging gear, tools, and materials are properly tracked, maintained, and mobilized for jobs.

Job Role

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the warehouse including shipping and receiving, inventory control, tool tracking, rigging gear management, and job mobilization support. This role manages warehouse personnel and develops systems that ensure materials and equipment are available, organized, and ready for field operations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in an industrial environment supporting crane and rigging crews.

Key Duties

  • Track and manage incoming deliveries from vendors and suppliers
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, storage, and material handling
  • Maintain inventory of rigging gear, tools, crane accessories, and job materials
  • Coordinate equipment and material mobilization for crane and rigging jobs
  • Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Maintain organization and storage systems for warehouse, tool rooms, and yard areas
  • Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and shop personnel to ensure jobs are properly staged
  • Ensure warehouse and yard areas remain safe, organized, and OSHA compliant
  • Support jobsite mobilization including preparation of tools, hardware, and rigging kits
  • Coordinate freight shipments and logistics with vendors and carriers
  • Assist mechanics and field crews with locating equipment and parts as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5–10 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or construction operations
  • Experience working in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment environments preferred
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems or equipment tracking programs
  • Familiarity with SMARTSHEETS
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify tools and equipment
  • Ability to read tape measures and understand basic material specifications
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to field requests
  • Willingness to work overtime or Saturdays as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and 75 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
  • Ability to work outdoors and in shop environments with varying temperatures
  • Ability to climb ladders, access equipment, and work around heavy machinery
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate tools and equipment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting crane, rigging, or heavy equipment operations
  • Knowledge of rigging gear, lifting hardware, and jobsite mobilization
  • Experience with SMARTSHEETS
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
