Warehouse Manager

Position Summary

Sun State Power is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager / Delivery Driver to support our commercial electrical and low-voltage operations. This role is responsible for managing warehouse organization, inventory control, material handling, and timely jobsite deliveries to ensure field teams are consistently equipped with the materials they need.

This position is ideal for someone with hands-on warehouse experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain organized warehouse operations, including inventory tracking and stock levels
• Pull, stage, and prepare materials for scheduled deliveries
• Deliver materials to local job sites using a company vehicle (van or small box truck)
• Communicate material status and updates with Project Managers and field personnel
• Monitor and maintain appropriate inventory levels for commonly used items
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA standards
• Coordinate pickups from local suppliers and distributors
• Handle returns and outbound shipments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling
• Forklift experience (certification preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or inventory systems
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities

Preferred Experience

• Background in electrical, construction, or industrial supply environments
• Familiarity with jobsite material staging and delivery processes
• Experience working with contractors, project managers, or field teams
