About the Role

The Warehouse Manager is the operational heartbeat of our shop by owning inventory, equipment, and order fulfillment while serving as the technical go-to for our field technicians and commercial customers. It is a fast-paced, cross-functional role that blends warehouse operations, customer support, and hands-on technical work. If you like owning outcomes, solving problems on the fly, and keeping a team moving, this is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Own daily warehouse operations including inventory control, equipment allocation, and order fulfillment with a relentless focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Serve as the technical resource for the team: handle incoming calls, support technicians in the field, and recommend the right product for each customer.
  • Generate customer quotes, manage serial number tracking, and maintain clean documentation and traceability in our ERP.
  • Service commercial accounts, including deionization (DI) systems for clients such as BASF, Syngenta, Eurofins, Duke, NCSU, Allied, Wasatch, and HZO by quoting, scheduling, and tracking 6-month and annual service visits in CRM.
  • Train and develop technicians, standardizing installation and service processes so every job meets the same bar.
  • Order materials based on sales and repair trends across Ecowater, Quench, Hague, and related lines.
  • Register customer warranties via the Hague warranty portal by serial number, and manage equipment orders through the Ecowater portal.
  • Proactively reach out to existing customers to drive continued business and strengthen relationships.

A Day in the Role

  • Order material based on orders sold and order parts based on repair trends (Ecowater, Quench, Hague, etc.).
  • Handle incoming calls and technical questions from techs and customers.
  • Prep the techs for their daily calls by pulling the equipment and tools they need.
  • Hook up and rinse new ROs so they are ready for install.
  • Rotate, repair, and rinse coolers so they are ready for install.
  • Keep the warehouse and exterior clean and organized.
  • Reach out to customers for continued business.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of warehouse, operations, or field-service experience water treatment plumbing or a related industry is a plus.
  • Strong technical aptitude: comfortable reading manuals, troubleshooting on the spot, and training others to do the same.
  • Customer-facing communication skills, confident on the phone and in person with commercial accounts.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems; Zoho CRM preferred.
  • Comfort navigating vendor portals (Ecowater, Hague, and similar).
  • Highly organized with a bias for action, ownership, and follow-through.
  • Able to juggle cross-functional work across warehouse operations, customer support, and field teams.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with deionization (DI) systems or commercial water treatment.
  • Prior team leadership or technician development experience.
  • Forklift or related equipment certifications.
