Duties

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage warehouse distribution processes, coordinating with logistics providers and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines.
• Lead, motivate, and supervise warehouse staff, fostering a team-oriented environment focused on safety, productivity, and continuous improvement.
• Implement process improvements to enhance workflow efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize space utilization within the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations by maintaining safety standards and conducting regular safety training sessions.
• Conduct regular inventory control audits to prevent shrinkage, manage stock levels accurately, and support inventory management strategies.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely for materials handling tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain detailed documentation of all warehouse activities including shift reports, incident logs, inbound/outbound shipments, and safety records.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision within a fast-paced environment; prior warehouse supervisor experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability in process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
• Valid forklift certification with mechanical knowledge for heavy lifting and materials handling tasks.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse groups effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in shipping & receiving procedures and inventory control.
