Warehouse Manager

Summary/Objective:

The Warehouse Manager oversees planning, organization, and management activities to ensure efficient order fulfillment, storage, and shipping operations. The role also includes responsibility for safety, organization, and housekeeping.

Essential Functions:

· Ensures efficient warehouse operations through collaboration and coordination with other departments.

· Audit and report inventory while making recommendations on which items to order and restock

· Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment

· Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse

· Set warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management and other team leads

· Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees

· Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner

· Prepares and completes all required management reports.

· Keep up-to-date on the latest federal and state safety regulations

· Identifies and manages all needed maintenance improvement activities.

· Identifies and presents new ideas to improve warehouse operations.

· Ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Seven to nine years of related experience, including supervisory experience, in a production, warehouse, or similar environment preferred.

A high school diploma is required; higher education preferred.

· Demonstrated track record of success in previous leadership and management positions.

· Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Organizational and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

· Strong knowledge of warehouse and production processes, procedures, and operational best practices.

· Thorough understanding of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· Oversees daily warehouse operations and schedules staff to ensure all shifts are properly covered.

· Hires and trains new warehouse employees.

· Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

· Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.

Work Environment:

· This position is based in the facility’s warehouse and production areas.

Position Type/Expected Hours:

· 8:00a.m. – 5:00p.m. Incumbents are required to work on a flexible work schedule to meet the demands of customers. Occasional Saturday coverage and coverage from 7 a.m. opening and 6 p.m. closing periodically.

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to move throughout the warehouse and entire facility

· Prolonged periods of standing and working on various machinery and equipment.

· Working in a manufacturing environment while producing parts and assembling hoses

· Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds at times.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
