Job description: Warehouse Manager

American Vision Windows is looking to add an exceptional individual to the team! The warehouse manager oversees the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and prompt dispatch of goods. They ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and stock. They handle the provision of materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services. They are also responsible for supervising staff.

A qualified candidate would have:

- An ability to communicate clearly and efficiently with assistants, staff, customers, and vendors.

- Inventory Control of Window and Bath products.

- Planning and staging the delivery of AVW products for production crews.

- Placing Orders with different vendors

- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.

- Maintain the yard.

- Unload delivery trucks, checking deliveries against the manifest.

- High competency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).

- An ability to work independently under organizational guidelines to achieve goals.

- Ability to keep inventory/stock control system up to date and plan for future capacity requirements.

- Clean driving record, ability to deliver parts to remote locations as needed.

- Must follow all requirements as outlined in the AVW Employee Handbook, including addendums.

- Follows Federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements

- Relevant Experience:

Minimum of two years’ warehouse management experience. Ability to analyze data for trends and improvements. Ability to show deliverable results. Construction knowledge preferred.
