Warehouse Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient management of warehouse activities, including inventory control, logistics, and team leadership. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems and transportation management, as well as the ability to implement lean practices to optimize operations.

Duties

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and manage a team of 4 to 5 warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain effective warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Oversee the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with safety regulations.
• Develop and manage budgets related to warehouse operations, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Coordinate with Logistics Coordinator to streamline shipping processes and enhance service delivery.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in reporting and addressing discrepancies promptly.
• Train staff on operational procedures, safety protocols, and the proper use of equipment such as forklifts.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Experience

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role is essential.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems and warehouse management systems is required.
• Strong background in logistics, operations management, budgeting, and lean practices is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team effectively.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for managing inventory and operational processes.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
