Quality Railings Miami Corp is seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee daily warehouse operations, inventory control, and material coordination for our railing fabrication and installation projects. This role is critical to ensuring materials are received, stored, fabricated, and delivered accurately and on time to support production and field crews.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, staging, and shipping of materials, installation, fabrication, drive
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Implement and enforce warehouse safety procedures and OSHA compliance
Inventory Management
- Track and manage inventory of aluminum, glass, hardware, fasteners, and fabrication supplies
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Coordinate purchasing requests to avoid shortages or overstock
- Label, organize, and maintain material locations for quick access
Production & Job Coordination
- Prepare and stage materials for fabrication and job-site installation
- Coordinate with project managers and installers to ensure correct materials are ready for each job
- Verify job-specific materials against shop drawings and takeoffs
- Assist with basic fabrication workflow scheduling as needed
Team Leadership
- Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and helpers
- Assign daily tasks and monitor productivity
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety
- Enforce company policies and performance standards
Logistics & Deliveries
- Schedule and oversee deliveries and pickups
- Ensure materials are loaded correctly and securely for transport
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for incoming shipments
- Track damaged or missing materials and file claims when necessary
Reporting & Systems
- Maintain accurate inventory and job material records (manual or software-based)
- Report material usage, shortages, and issues to management
- Assist in developing and improving warehouse systems and SOPs
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience (construction or manufacturing preferred)
- Experience with aluminum, glass, or metal fabrication materials is a plus
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, ability to work under stress
- Ability to read basic shop drawings, material lists, and takeoffs
- Forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Standing, walking, bending, and operating equipment for extended periods
- Indoor warehouse and outdoor yard work
