Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage warehouse operations and staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient, accurate, and safe handling of all inbound and outbound shipments while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, storage, and inventory control
• Lead, supervise, and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and professionally
• Ensure all shipments are accurately received, processed, and dispatched using company systems
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts
• Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity
• Assign, prioritize, and review work to meet deadlines and operational goals
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
• Analyze warehouse performance and prepare operational reports as required
• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, providing coaching and support as needed
• Address and resolve operational, customer service, and staffing issues promptly
• Oversee maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall business operations

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience (mandatory)
• Experience handling LTL / consolidated shipments (mandatory)
• Valid Forklift Operator Certification
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word; Excel is an asset)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in logistics or related field is an asset)
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required
