Warehouse Manager - Jeddah

Job Objective:

To oversee and manage the efficient operation of the hospital’s warehouse and inventory systems, ensuring the timely receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and non-medical materials. The Warehouse Manager will ensure compliance with healthcare quality and safety standards while optimizing inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control

• Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Ensure accurate and timely inventory recording using ERP systems.
• Implement effective stock rotation, minimizing expiry and obsolescence of medical items.
• Oversee periodic stock audits and cycle counts to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.

2. Process Optimization & Compliance

• Establish and maintain SOPs in line with hospital policies and MOH guidelines.
• Ensure proper storage conditions for pharmaceuticals, medical consumables, and equipment.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

3. Team Leadership & Development

• Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff to ensure high performance and adherence to best practices.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

4. Coordination & Reporting

• Prepare regular reports on stock status, consumption trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities for inventory planning.

5. Health, Safety, and Quality Assurance

• Enforce adherence to occupational health and safety standards within the warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and healthcare accreditation standards (e.g., CBAHI, JCI).
