Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory & Stock Control

· Maintain 100% accurate stock levels across all warehouses through systematic tagging, categorization, and documentation.

· Ensure real-time visibility of number of categories, brand-wise stock, and model-wise availability in the database.

· Prevent leakages, unused inventory accumulation, and stock mismatches.

· Implement and manage an inventory management software best suited for the organization.

· Manage inflow (GRN), outflow, sample issuance, and stock reconciliation.

2. Daily Warehouse Operations

· Conduct daily stock checks and ensure all entries are correctly updated in the system.

· Maintain a LIVE Dashboard with daily updates.

· Coordinate with courier partners for dispatch and delivery tracking.

· Inspect product quality and coordinate with suppliers for replacements or discrepancies.

· Enforce discipline and guide long-tenured staff to follow new processes without exception.

· Train team members on stock handling, documentation discipline, and quality checks.

· Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence.

4. Process & System Improvement

· Create and streamline SOPs for all warehouse operations in collaboration with the Founder.

· Document AS-IS processes and define future-state (TO-BE) workflows for inventory, dispatch, returns, and sample movements.

· Strengthen supply chain flow, including handling and repurposing unsold products.

· Engage proactively with Sales, Procurement, and Accounts for seamless stock coordination.

5. Reporting & Compliance

· Maintain daily stock status reports and share timely insights with Sales & Founder.

· Present audits, dashboards, inflow/outflow reports, and exception reports in a structured manner.

· Drive compliance with process standards, product handling norms, and SLA timelines.

· 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally in Retail, FMCG, Corporate Gifting, or related sectors.

· Strong expertise in Inventory Management, stock accuracy, and warehouse discipline.

· Proficiency in Excel, inventory software/ERP systems, and dashboard reporting.

· Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across Sales, Procurement, and Accounts.

· Leadership presence with an ability to earn respect, exercise authority, and manage a mixed-experience team.

· Sharp problem-solving ability with high ownership, structure, and process orientation.

Behavioural Expectations

· Highly disciplined, uncompromising on process adherence.

· Takes complete ownership of stock, dispatch accuracy, and warehouse functioning.

· Maintains a strong aura of leadership—firm yet respectful.

· Ensures no inflow or outflow happens without proper documentation.

· Demonstrates operational rigor, transparency, and proactive communication.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Additional certifications in Inventory Management / Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) are an advantage.
