The Warehouse Manager / In-charge will be responsible for end-to-end management of inventory across three warehouses for a leading corporate gifting organization partnered with top brands (PUMA, Blackberry, and others).
This role ensures 100% inventory accuracy, strong documentation, timely dispatch, supplier coordination, and a disciplined warehouse environment.
The position is critical for enabling smooth customer service, ensuring that stock availability, order fulfilment, and delivery happen accurately and on time — the core USP of the company: “We deliver anytime, anywhere.”
Key Responsibilities
1. Inventory & Stock Control
· Maintain 100% accurate stock levels across all warehouses through systematic tagging, categorization, and documentation.
· Ensure real-time visibility of number of categories, brand-wise stock, and model-wise availability in the database.
· Prevent leakages, unused inventory accumulation, and stock mismatches.
· Implement and manage an inventory management software best suited for the organization.
· Manage inflow (GRN), outflow, sample issuance, and stock reconciliation.
2. Daily Warehouse Operations
· Conduct daily stock checks and ensure all entries are correctly updated in the system.
· Manage order dispatch end-to-end, ensuring accurate invoicing for every outgoing shipment.
· Maintain a LIVE Dashboard with daily updates.
· Coordinate with courier partners for dispatch and delivery tracking.
· Inspect product quality and coordinate with suppliers for replacements or discrepancies.
· Maintain strict control over sample management (no sample movement without proper entry).
· Ensure tight control on dispatch accuracy to eliminate client complaints of short deliveries.
3. People Management
· Lead and supervise a team of 1 Supervisor + 3 Packaging/Field staff.
· Enforce discipline and guide long-tenured staff to follow new processes without exception.
· Train team members on stock handling, documentation discipline, and quality checks.
· Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and operational excellence.
4. Process & System Improvement
· Create and streamline SOPs for all warehouse operations in collaboration with the Founder.
· Document AS-IS processes and define future-state (TO-BE) workflows for inventory, dispatch, returns, and sample movements.
· Strengthen supply chain flow, including handling and repurposing unsold products.
· Engage proactively with Sales, Procurement, and Accounts for seamless stock coordination.
5. Reporting & Compliance
· Maintain daily stock status reports and share timely insights with Sales & Founder.
· Present audits, dashboards, inflow/outflow reports, and exception reports in a structured manner.
· Drive compliance with process standards, product handling norms, and SLA timelines.
What we are looking for (Skills & Experience Required)
· 10–15 years of experience in warehouse operations, ideally in Retail, FMCG, Corporate Gifting, or related sectors.
· Strong expertise in Inventory Management, stock accuracy, and warehouse discipline.
· Proficiency in Excel, inventory software/ERP systems, and dashboard reporting.
· Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate across Sales, Procurement, and Accounts.
· Leadership presence with an ability to earn respect, exercise authority, and manage a mixed-experience team.
· Sharp problem-solving ability with high ownership, structure, and process orientation.
