Warehouse Admin & Material Controller

Job Overview

Our client, a globally recognized leader in industrial automation, electrification, and digitalization solutions, is hiring a Warehouse Admin & Material Controller to manage warehouse operations, inventory control, and project material coordination. This role is critical in ensuring accurate stock records, timely material availability, ERP/WMS transactions, and full compliance with quality and HSE standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in warehouse administration within industrial, electrical, or project-based environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS (receipts, issues, returns, adjustments).
  • Handle warehouse documentation: GRN, MRN, STO, Delivery Notes, Pick Lists, Gate Passes.
  • Manage bin locations, barcode/QR tagging, and warehouse layout updates.
  • Perform cycle counts and stock takes; investigate and resolve inventory variances.
  • Track materials against BOQ / MTO / work orders.
  • Monitor min/max levels, safety stock, and lead times; raise replenishment requests.
  • Control material issuance based on approved Material Requests (MR).
  • Apply FIFO / FEFO and proper storage for electrical and mechanical materials.
  • Conduct incoming material inspections; verify PO, CoC, test certificates, MSDS.
  • Escalate NCRs and ensure compliance with HSE and 5S standards.
  • Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics and site deliveries.
  • Track deliveries using ASN / Proof of Delivery (PoD).
  • Prepare daily and weekly inventory and shortage reports.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of experience in warehouse administration or material control.
  • Experience in industrial, utility, or electrical project environments preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical materials (cables, panels, breakers, RTUs).
  • Familiarity with HSE standards and warehouse safety procedures.

Skills & Tools

  • Inventory control, material planning, and stock reconciliation.
  • ERP/WMS systems, barcode scanners, and label printers.
  • MS Excel (mandatory); Power BI (basic) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, coordination, communication, and time management.
