Job Description

National Standard Parts Associates is looking for a Material Handler to join our team. Position hours are M-F 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently as part of a team, take initiative and be self-motivated. The person we are looking for is detail oriented, organized, has great time management skills and is willing to work hard in order to meet goals. We are looking for someone who can perform in our fast paced environment and have the ability to adapt to a variety of situations.

Essential Functions:
Pick product for internal jobs and orders with a handheld mobile device and organize the product for distribution throughout the warehouse.

• Ability to handle material weighing up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
• Verify that all material being picked is the correct part # and qty per handheld
• Work with your team of other material handlers and supervisor to complete workload during shift
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and warehouse
• Work safely around equipment and report any issues to manager or supervisor
• Assist in maintaining warehouse by cleaning, emptying trash bins, taking out trash etc.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required

• 1 year experience in warehouse environment; picking with a handheld preferred
• Ablility to lift 50 lbs.
• Work in a non-climate controlled warehouse

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
