Warehouse Operations/ Delivery Technician

Job Overview
Local home products dealer in search of a Warehouse Operations/ Delivery Technician. No experience needed as training is provided but experience is preferred. In this energetic role, you'll handle the loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, utilizing your driving skills and warehouse experience to deliver products efficiently and safely.

An ideal person for this job would enjoy building things / working with your hands, and you will be helping to install products or repairing items that need fixed.

Warehouse operations include shipping and receiving our products from various suppliers, organizing inventory, and helping maintain our showroom.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and organize products
• Operate box trucks or for route deliveries
• Drive delivery routes confidently, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers' locations
• Assist with heavy lifting and moving items to prevent damage and ensure proper handling
• Maintain vehicle safety by performing routine inspections and adhering to traffic laws during route driving
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly, addressing questions, and ensuring satisfaction upon delivery
• Load and unload goods efficiently at warehouses or customer sites while following safety protocols

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and experience with box trucks preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks regularly
• Knowledge of route driving, load management, and safety regulations during transportation

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
