Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse facilities and grounds, manage our truck fleet, and lead our purchasing and inventory efforts. This multifaceted role is crucial to maintaining the efficiency, safety, and effectiveness of our operational infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Facilities & Grounds

• Supervise the maintenance, safety, and cleanliness of warehouse facility and surrounding grounds.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility maintenance and upgrades.
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse operations.

Fleet Management

• Oversee scheduling, maintenance, and compliance for all company trucks and transportation equipment.
• Manage driver assignments and ensure DOT and company policy compliance.
• Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and fleet performance metrics.
• Ensure timely inspections, registrations, and servicing of all vehicles.

Purchasing & Inventory Management

· Manage procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment to support operational needs.

• Maintain optimal inventory levels to support operational needs while minimizing excess.
• Develop strong vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor inventory accuracy through audits and cycle counts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in warehouse management, fleet operations, and procurement/inventory control.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
