Jacobson Group is a leading importer and distributor of footwear. We seek hard working people to join our organisation in the following full time, permanent positions.

Warehouse Operative/Driver

Based at Werneth Mill, Oldham, OL1 2AE, you will be working 40 hours per week, 9.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. You may be required to work overtime including Saturday and Sunday. You MUST have a driving licence and be willing and able to drive a Luton van. Applicants without a driving licence will be automatically rejected.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will be in the warehouse however, when necessary, you MUST have a driving licence and be willing and able to drive a Luton van. Warehouse responsibilities may include, loading & unloading wagons, including manual handling up to 20kg, put away, replenishment and other general warehouse duties.

Skills and Experience

You will be punctual and extremely reliable. You must be highly flexible, a great team player and more than willing to work overtime.

Ideally you will have IT skills, Maths and English at GCSE level or equivalent.

Ideally you will have experience:

• Loading & unloading wagons and vans
• Accurately putting stock away in location
• Pallet moving within the warehouse using pump truck
• Picking stock
• Replenishing picking aisle
• General warehouse duties

You MUST have a driving licence and be willing and able to drive a Luton van. Applicants without a driving licence will be automatically rejected.

In return we offer a rate of £12.71 per hour, 31 days holiday, rising to 40 days, including Bank Holidays, & staff discount.
