Position Summary
The Warehouse & Parts Operations Specialist supports both warehouse operations and the growing parts ecosystem. This role is responsible for receiving inventory, maintaining warehouse organization, recovering reusable parts from equipment, cataloging inventory, fulfilling customer and technician requests, and ensuring parts move efficiently from identification through shipment.
This position serves as a bridge between warehouse operations, technical support, and customer fulfillment while helping build a consistent parts program across all company locations.
Core Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Receive inbound shipments and verify inventory accuracy.
- Unload containers and organize incoming products.
- Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety.
- Stage equipment for shipment, installation, or customer pickup.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle audits.
- Support showroom and display equipment preparation.
- Assist with equipment assembly and basic operational checks.
- Coordinate movement of inventory within the warehouse.
Parts Recovery & Equipment Teardown
- Evaluate returned, damaged, discontinued, and surplus equipment for parts recovery opportunities.
- Disassemble equipment and identify reusable components.
- Sort, inspect, clean, and organize recovered parts.
- Determine salvageable versus non-salvageable components.
- Work with technical support to identify high-demand recovery opportunities.
- Maintain organized storage locations for recovered inventory.
Parts Cataloging & Inventory Management
- Catalog parts within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Create and maintain part descriptions, quantities, and storage locations.
- Photograph parts when needed for identification and sales purposes.
- Ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.
- Assist in identifying missing or incorrect inventory information.
- Support ongoing improvement of parts organization and inventory accuracy.
Parts Fulfillment & Customer Support
- Process parts requests from customers, sales staff, and technicians.
- Identify correct parts using available documentation and resources.
- Pick, package, and ship parts orders.
- Monitor order status through customer receipt.
- Coordinate freight and parcel shipments as required.
- Respond to technician requests for parts availability and clarification.
- Communicate inventory shortages and backorder concerns.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy, parts recovery, and fulfillment processes.
- Recommend improvements to warehouse layout and storage systems.
- Collaborate with Parts Operations Specialists at other company locations.
- Support development of standardized parts procedures across all facilities.
Qualifications
- Warehouse, inventory, technical, automotive, or equipment experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment components.
- Comfortable using warehouse and inventory software systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to safely lift and move equipment and parts.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams.

Pay: From $4,000.00 per month
