Warehouse Receiving Clerk – Restaurant Operations

As Warehouse Receiving Clerk you will support the smooth daily flow of our restaurant’s back-of-house operations. This role ensures that every delivery is checked, recorded, and stored correctly, helping the team maintain quality, efficiency, and full control of stock.

Your day to day

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries (quality, quantity, and condition).
• Record goods in the inventory system and flag discrepancies or damaged items.
• Organise, label, and store products according to safety and hygiene standards.
• Support stock rotation (FIFO) and ensure storage areas remain tidy and compliant.
• Assist with weekly and monthly stock counts.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen, purchasing, and suppliers when issues arise.
• Manage returns, replacement requests, and delivery documentation.

Who are you?

• First experience in warehouse, logistics, or restaurant support roles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Comfortable with physical tasks and handling goods safely.
• Basic familiarity with inventory systems or willingness to learn.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and confident communicating with different departments.
• Flexible and available for early-morning deliveries when required.
