Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient receipt, storage, dispatch, and inventory control of all goods under PCIGT. This role ensures compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements while maintaining smooth operational flow across all warehouse activities.


Key Responsibilities
1. Warehouse Operations & Workflow
  • Supervise all warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders, deliveries, and stock movements.
  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with suppliers, vendors, and transport companies.
  • Implement standardized procedures to maximize efficiency and reduce operational errors.


2. Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure all stock movements are properly recorded.
  • Conduct routine physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock condition and ensure proper labeling, organization, and storage of materials.
  • Prepare daily/weekly inventory reports for management.


3. Team Supervision & Staff Coordination
  • Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Conduct training for new and existing staff on warehouse processes, safety, and equipment handling.
  • Address performance issues, ensure discipline, and maintain teamwork within the warehouse.
  • Prepare shift schedules and ensure adequate manpower coverage at all times.


4. Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure all warehouse operations comply with company policies and UAE safety standards.
  • Monitor housekeeping and cleanliness standards across the facility.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Report damaged goods, equipment issues, and safety hazards immediately.


5. Documentation & Reporting
  • Prepare daily operational reports covering stock levels, receiving status, dispatch schedules, and manpower.
  • Ensure proper documentation for deliveries, returns, and transfers.
  • Track KPIs such as order accuracy, picking speed, and inventory variance.
  • Assist management in audits, procurement planning, and continuous improvement strategies.


Qualifications & Requirements
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably within trading or distribution companies in UAE.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Forklift certification is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage.
