Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining inventory accuracy, enforcing safety protocols, and optimizing workflow to meet productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management:

• Oversee receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
• Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Monitor warehouse workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize errors.
• Maintain proper inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.

2. Team Supervision:

• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
• Resolve employee issues and maintain a positive work environment.
• Schedule shifts and ensure adequate staffing.

3. Inventory & Quality Control:

• Ensure accurate record-keeping using WMS (Warehouse Management System).
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in stock levels.
• Implement quality checks to prevent damaged or incorrect shipments.

4. Safety & Compliance:

• Enforce OSHA and company safety regulations.
• Conduct safety training and routine inspections.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free warehouse.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

5. Reporting & Communication:

• Prepare reports on inventory, productivity, and KPIs.
• Communicate with other departments (logistics, procurement, customer service).
• Report operational issues and recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High school diploma (required); Associate/Bachelor’s degree in logistics/supply chain (preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years in warehouse operations in last mile, with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and MS Office.
• Soft Skills: Leadership, problem-solving, communication, and time management.
• Certifications: Forklift certification, OSHA training (a plus).
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and stand for long periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
