Warehouse Supervisor

Cardinal Professional Products is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who is willing to put in the time and effort to learn new skills and adapt to a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate with have both professionalism and flexibility.

The primary duties of a Cardinal Warehouse Supervisor are to supervise, manage, and participate in the daily warehouse operations and activities by their warehouse crew (scheduling staff accordingly) when applicable. Primarily, that involves managing inventory control, deliveries, will call center, shipping and receiving, and maintaining proper protocol when staff are delivering hazardous and non-hazardous orders. Duties may also include upholding site permits, especially for chemicals stored, structuring warehouse/drivers’ files, conducting safety trainings and meetings, fleet management of all delivery vehicles, equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks), and preserving a safe working environment throughout the facility.

WORKING PROCEDURES:

Supervising / Managing warehouse personnel daily

o Scheduling shifts along with setting up deliveries

o Assigning everyday tasks o Manage vacation requests

o Troubleshooting as needed

Manage products in the warehouse

o Proper storage and placement of products while in storage

o Securing fumigant cylinders o Keeping the warehouse organized, clean inside and outside

o Keeping track of inventory, warning office staff of items low in inventory o Maintain a sufficient amount of inventory, especially on high-demand items

o Scheduling of product deliveries (hazardous and non-hazardous)

o Assisting in order processing (sale orders created in MAS) o Inventory control management

  • Delivery of hazardous and/or non-hazardous products to customers
  • Calibration of gas detection equipment
  • Manufacturing and repair of ULV fogging equipment
  • Repair of miscellaneous equipment for customers
  • Filling of VAP-X and Pyre-X cylinders according to Cardinal Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
  • Receiving and shipping products via common carrier / international shipments as well
  • UPS and FedEx receiving and shipping o Preparation of products for shipping UPS/FedEx

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

MANDATORY: Ability to read, write, and demonstrate general comprehension. Ability to use measuring equipment and read labels and general information. Have a valid driver's license.

Preferred: Driver’s License with hazardous materials endorsement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
