Warehouse Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Greater Chicago Area (West Suburbs transitioning to South Suburbs)

Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Our organization is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead second-shift operations within a fast-paced distribution and logistics environment. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring daily operational objectives are achieved while maintaining high standards for safety, inventory accuracy, productivity, and employee engagement.

This position offers a unique opportunity to help support operations during an exciting facility expansion and warehouse transition project while working with modern warehouse technologies and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a second-shift warehouse team.
• Ensure effective communication and operational handoff between shifts.
• Oversee receiving, replenishment, inventory movement, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counting and variance resolution.
• Support automated warehouse technologies including robotics, AMRs, ASRS, and other material handling systems.
• Monitor productivity, quality, safety, and inventory KPIs.
• Utilize WMS and ERP systems to manage daily warehouse operations.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that improve efficiency and service levels.
• Maintain compliance with company safety policies and operational procedures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience within warehousing, distribution, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Experience leading warehouse associates in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP platforms.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Experience supporting inventory control, cycle counting, and replenishment activities.
• Comfortable working in an environment utilizing warehouse automation and technology.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift certification and Lean/Six Sigma experience are a plus.
